My Story

It all started in April 2017. It was on the 14th of April when I posted my first track on the internet (SoundCloud). I had just gained interest in making music, and started making “trap beats” and some electronic stuff. Since then, I’ve improved a lot, I’m still making music and I think I’ll never stop.

I started learning guitar in January 2020. The reason I started learning guitar was because I wanted to be able to play Flamenco guitar. I really liked that type of music and sound. So I got inspired to learn guitar. My grandfather let me borrow his old Taylor acoustic guitar for some time. I started learning both online and with an application called Yousician. That’s where I learned all the basics.

In the summer of 2020, I bought my first guitar, an Alhambra flamenco guitar. I started learning some basic Flamenco techniques but never really got that far in that area, but I have recently picked up back the interest in learning Flamenco again.

On April 13, 2020, I discovered blues music. That’s when I found and added the first blues song to my new playlist – that song was Tin Pan Alley by Stevie Ray Vaughan. That started my blues journey. It was so exciting for me to discover what felt like a whole new world and style of music. I kept looking for more and more blues songs and now in May 2023 I have more than 700 blues songs in my playlists. On September 9th, 2020, I added the second Stevie Ray Vaughan song to my playlist, “Little Wing” – then on February 22, 2021, I discovered and added 11 more songs by him. That was kind of my introduction to Stevie’s music. Since then he has been my greatest influence in all of music. You could say that he shaped my style of playing the blues.

On December 22, 2020, I ordered my first electric guitar. It was a Harley Benton SC-550, a Les Paul style guitar. Then 6 days later, I got my first amplifier, a Fender Champion 40. I had already started to learn some rock classics on the Flamenco guitar, but now that I had an electric, I could go all in. I started learning more and more rock riffs and some blues as well. Then on March 1, 2021 I got my first Stratocaster. A cheap one, but still a Strat nonetheless. It was a Harley Benton ST-20HSS. That got me leaning more towards blues music. I played it a lot. I learned a few songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix.

In November 2022, I got my first Fender – a Japanese Strat, very well made. That has inspired me to make new music and come up with lots of different ideas for songs.

In the second week of May 2023 I flew to Bergen, Norway and played a couple of gigs throughout the week. I had such a great time over there. I played with a lot of great and amazing musicians, and there was just so much talent there. I plan on returning to Norway very soon.

What are my influences?

It’d be an endless list. I’ve been influenced by countless artists out there. I’ll list only my biggest influences as that’s a far shorter list.

Stevie Ray Vaughan has always been my biggest influence since I first came across his music. Everything in his music speaks to me so much. Every little detail in his guitar playing just sounds so good to me. I could go on for days just talking about his guitar playing.

Down below you can see the list, with each name linked to their Spotify page. If you’re interested in my music, definitely check these artists out. I’m sure you’ll like at least a couple of them, give them a listen!

Some of these artists are more obscure than others, so it’d be great if you could support them and give their music a listen!
